Default Product Key for Office is rejected

Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help. I bought a new laptop a few months ago which
had office 2007 trial on it - I have a few weeks left.
I did have a copy of Office 2007 on my old laptop and while I have a note of
the product key I cannot find my disk anywhere...
Trouble is when I try to convert my trial version on my new laptop using the
product key it says the key is invalid??
Help!!
Emma - still hunting high and low for the disk

If the disk is not a retail version, but one supplied with your other PC you

Then you need the disk, once found uninstall the trial & any activation
assistant, reboot, then install from cd/dvd
