Default Combo box formatting

Is there a way to make certain entries in a combo box bold or change the
background color of those items?

Thank you,

QB

You mean, in the list, when you drop it down? No, an Access combo box can't
do that. You can highlight items, sort of, by basing the combo box on a
query that builds the display text and includes asterisks or some other
characters to call attention to the "special" items.

You *can* use conditional formatting to highlight the selected item by
modifying the format of the text portion of the control.
