Default Data validation

Any one pls help me....?

I am having a data validation rule in sheet1, data taking from sheet2 using
a drop down menu.

My problem is that I am entering the same items twice.
Is there any way to avoid duplicate.

Hi,

Using advanced filters, please extract the unique items from the list in
sheet 2 first. Then, suplly this unique list as a list range to the
validation list
