Default MSOXMLED.EXE ???

I have XP MCE, Word XP, and Excel 2000. Why do I have a registry key
under /Office11/MSOXMLED.EXE ??? I don't even have an Office11 folder. Is
this left over from a trial Office 2003 that came preinstalled on my
computer?
Can I kill the key?
Are there other reg keys left over from the trial Office 2003?
Note: I never opened the trial. I uninstalled it immediately.
