Formatting Disappears
Over the last few months, I've had several documents with various format
styles assigned that I've opened to find that half the text has reverted to "Normal" style. I have to go through and reapply all of the format styles. It usually happens with bullet/lists and tables. Is there a way to prevent this so that I can have some confidence that someone else opening one of these documents will not see a haphazard jumble of text? |

In the Templates and Add-Ins dialog box, is the "Automatically update
document styles" option checked? If so, clear it. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "jen_writer" wrote in message ...
