Default script errors

I keep getting I.E. script error box in some emails.

I have deselected all script error lines in tools/Internet options/advanced/
and the error box still comes up. I have tried various selections on the
script lines to no solution.

I use WIN XP SP., I.E. 6.0 and OE 6.0.

Any more thoughts on this would be appreciated.

There are more than one which you didn't post. Maybe it's this one?

Internet Explorer Script Error.

Line: 1344
Char: 1
Error: Unspecified error
Code: 0
URL: roes//C:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Go to Start | Run and type, (or copy/paste):

regsvr32 ole32.dll

Press Enter.

And:

In OE go to: Tools | Options | Security and set OE to the Restricted Zone.
That should remove active scripting and do away with the error messages.

tks a big time Bruce. The security one did the trick. Tell me, will that
change to Restricted Zone affect anything down the line for me?

Also, the error box was Line 51. Object expected, URL: mhtml:mid://00000024/

tks again

I have always had my OE set to the Restricted Zone and have been able to do
whatever I want, so I don't think you'll see a problem. Just remember you
made that change if something does not work as it used to.

Restricted zone is default in all installations now, so I don't know
anything that could have changed it except if the user did it manually at
some point, as I do whenever I do an install.
