Default How can i create my own template in powerpoint with 8 pics

I'm trying to create a template in powerpoint for my dental office, but can
not figure out how to add new boxes (the "click icon to add content" box). I
need landscape format, 3 pics on top, 3 on bottom, text box in middle with 2
pics on the sides of text. Totaling 8 pics and 1 text box. I was able to
create the layout, but just had to insert pic and resize them drastically,
drop them in their right spot, and was unable to make the template so i can
use it for numerous patients. I have to create the whole document from
scratch at this point.

You need to do what you've already doneon a regular slide in a "Slide
Master." See View Master Slide Master. The Slide Master comes with 2
text place holders (Title and Text). You cannot create additional place
holder text boxes, but you can add text boxes by using the Text Box icon in
your Draw Menu (tool bar at the bottom of your screen).

Janae,
Check out Shyam's Image Importer Wizard. It will let you import multiple
pictures at once (nice). It will also let you set up "templates" that tell
it where to put the pictures and how to animate them (nicer). You can find
more information at:
skp.mvps.org/iiw.htm

This won't fix the need for additional text placeholders, but it will allow
you to do what you need with the pictures.

suppose you are using PP 2003, go to View menu, choose Master, click
Slide Master, in the slide master view, everything you do for a slide
will appear on the new silde you make after you exit the slide master
view.
save the ppt file as a ppt template.
since your given is not detail enough, I can not tell further.

good luck
