Pub 'submit' button on web page problem
Hello folks,
I used MS Publisher to put together my very first web page (my first mistake). My business web page was looking pretty good, so I secured a Host. After getting through FTP I tried out a form that I put together to get orders for the business. I used the 'submit' button off the menu, but it doesn't work. It goes to 'page not found'. Using the Host's controls, I installed the Front Page extensions. Now the message reads Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: "http://www.mywebpage.com/index_files/page0008.htm" How do I get FP extensions to run on this page and operate the submit button??? BTW, the host company says they do not provide developer support. Given that I cannot even get an html view of my pages out of Publisher, (another problem), you all are my only hope. Has anyone else encountered this problem and fixed it??? I sure hope so!! Thanks! Toadly .. |
