Default Possible network problems with mixing Office 2007 and 2003

I have Office 2002 installed on my XP computer and recently added Office 2007
as well because i have it on my Vista machine. Everything seemed to go well
until I installed a NAS drive.

I can create a shared folder on the NAS drive with no problem using
manufacturers software. I was able to map the folders with no problem. WinExp
in Vista sees the folders properly. The WinExp on the XP does not. I renamed
a shared folder, created another folder and the XP machine does not see the
change.

Two questions: Is having both versions of Office on the XP machine causing
this problem?

If so, i will remove Office 2007. However, Office 2007 took over my
Outlook. How can I revert back to Office 2002 Outlook if need be?

Thanks for your help,
Bonsai Bill
