Page Break!

I am new to Access forms, I have mainly worked in Paradox. I am however
trying to move all my databases into Access. Hopefully I will last through
my frustration! I am trying to add a simple page break to a form, but it
does not seem to work!

I put the page break where I needed it, and I have the "Default View" set to
"Single Form", but when I run the form, it does not page break where I told
it, in fact, it does not page break at all. Probably this is something
simple that I am overlooking, but can't seem to tackle the problem. Please
help if you can. I would greatly appreciate it!

Are you trying to print your form?

Not sure why else you would want a page break.

Forms are for viewing, editing, adding, and updating data. Reports are for
printing.

Build a report if you want to print.

While you have your form open, you can even do a SAVE AS a report and have a
starting point.

Thank you for responding. No I am not trying to print the form, actually I
have some subforms that I would like to go on the second page of the form. I
already have to many fields on the first page.

I'm sorry, I still don't understand "second page of the form". Forms are
not in pages?

Do you mean tab controls?

I don't use multipage forms -- the tab control is a better way to
present that much data -- but I think the form won't break to two pages
if the form window is big enough to show both pages at once. Is that
what's going on?

What happens if you set the form's Auto Resize property to Yes, close
and save the form, and then reopen it?

Forms can have multiple pages, created by adding a Page Break control to
the form.

Did you ever figure out how to create a page break on your form? I'm having
the same problem. I have followed the instructions from the help menu
faithfully but it doesn't work! For data entry purposes, I want a form that
is broken up into several pages.
