Return the software for a refund as it's probably bogus.

I've had exactly the same issue, today, unresolved, with a legitimate copy
purchased via Microsoft Home Use Program. Without knowing who to return my
original copy to, how do I resolve this issue?

Is there a UK address for this help please, since when I go to the link,
a) It will only accept a USA address
b) It doesn't show as free, and wants c/card details to attempt to charge $49
Thanks for ur help

Is it worth UNINSTALLING the FREE 30d trial office (home and student) that
came with the brand new HP laptop, and THEN trying to install the CD again?
I've searched the CD and there IS 250MB of stuff on the ENTER sub directory
in the CAB folder?

Hi Rich,

On the page mentioned by Carey, below, click on the 'United States' ID on the upper left and change to 'United Kingdom'. On the new
page that comes up click on the 'Contact Microsoft' link.

Hi Bob
Tried that also, got the phone numbers and spent all day unsuccessfully
pressing different option numbers to get no-where within Microsoft. All I was
eventually offered was an e-mail address to send a technical question to, but
have since found out that this is a "general" e-mail address and so I have no
idea when someone will look at this issue !
Uninstalled the free demo software that came with the new laptop and it
still doesn't install. So, currently frustrated big-time with a product that
won't install, cost £17 and has cost more in phonecalls and my time so far !
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated
Richard

getting (and a lot of people are getting).
