Default copy meeting invites

Hello...
I am trying to figure out how to copy a meeting and not move it. It is not
recurring with any consistency due to availability.

I invite a distribution list and agenda/open items created for 1PM on
Monday. How do I create a followup meeting on Wednesday at 11AM without
moving the Monday meeting or starting from scratch.?

Right-click and drag the meeting. When you release the mouse button, choose
Copy.

Do you try Ctrl+C to copy then paste? This should create an exception to the
meeting.
