can't get remaining rules to run
I'm using Outlook 2002 SP-2 on a windows XP system.
I want to setup the following rules: 1) move messages with "testcenter_auto" in the recipient's address to a specific folder 2) move messages with just "testcenter" (not "testcenter_auto") in the recipient's address to a specific folder 3) move messages with "testcenter" (including testcenter, testcenter_auto, testcenter*) and my name (email) in the recipient's address to a specific folder However, it seems that I can only get the first of these rules to process (due to the "stop processing more rules" condition) or all of them to process with multiple copies of the messages (at least in the inbox and the desired destination) if I turn the "stop processing mroe rules" condition off. I've tried several varieties of methods to acheive these rules, but nothing seems to work. Here is what I'm currently using, in the order my rules are processed: rule 1: ....after the message arrives with testcenter_auto in the recipient's address move it to the testcenter_auto folder except with 'my name' or 'testcenter_proj' or 'testcenter@' in the recipient's address stop processing more rules rule 2: ....after the message arrives with testcenterin the recipient's address move it to the testcenter folder except with 'my name' in the recipient's address stop processing more rules rule 3: ....after the message arrives with testcenter in the recipient's address assign it to the blah category and move it to the testcenter folder stop processing more rules Of the above, only the 1st rule is processed. If I run rules 2 or 3 individually (using the "Run Now..." button) they work as expected. I thought "stop processing more rules" only applied if all conditions were met. Do "except...." statements not count in determining if we should stop processing more rules on that message? |

Move rule 3 to slot 1, rule 1 to slot 2 and rule 2 to slot 3.
