Thanks If you created an .accde and didn't keep the .accdb around for future changes, this will be the LEAST of your problems! Fix the link in the .accdb and make a new .accde. No, MDE/ACCDE's are locked down in that respect and many other respects as well. Now if you have the MDB available there are things that can be done such as using late binding or, if possible, using alternatives to ActiveX controls. What's the nature of the problem and we can give you some suggestions.
