Page numbers - Word is confused
I am having trouble with my inserted page numbers because Word is confused about my pages. It thinks my doc is numbered: 2,3,3,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 instead of 1-10. (That's what it shows when I scroll through the doc and what it shows in the lower left box). How on Earth do I fix that?? I don't think it's a section break problem because I don't have any in there. Thanks.

The only way you get numbering like that AFAIK is with section breaks. Turn
on display of non-printing characters and check it out. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup. Ok. By viewing it like you said, I saw another section break and took it out. Now the page numbers are almost normal, expect that the entire doc still starts on page 2 (so the 10 page doc is numbered 2-11). Any idea of how to change that?
