Mail Merge Question
While doing LABELS in mail merge, any zip codes that are more than 6
numbers (for example: 30308-1984) are showing up as a zero. Anybody else come across this problem? My data file has a LOT of extended zip codes and I'd rather NOT remove the last four digits. Thank you! --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |

Mail Merge Question
Hi Cheusinger,
1. How is your source data formatted? 2. Does the whole field evaluate to 0, or is it simply (a) being truncated or (b) giving some other invalid result? 3. What is your current mergefield coding? Cheers --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |

Mail Merge Question
Well, I did indeed figure it out.
I went to "Options", then "General", and checked "confirm conversion". Then when merging, i'm asked to "confirm the data source" and I click on "MS Excel Worksheets via DDE". Then I completed the merge and the zip codes were fine! Thanks for responding, though! --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
