Default Style - Select All In Use

Using Word 2002 with Office XP.

Thanks to all that reply

I have a Word document with a set of User Defined styles
tied to an Outline Numbered Template; i.e. SP1 (Level 1),
SP2 (Level 2), etc.; and cannot "Select All" occurences of
my User Defined, or any other style, without using the
FIND routine.

Using the FIND dialog box with --
"Find what:" set to "Format: Style: SP1"
"Highlight all items found in:" is checked
"Main Document" is selected
No other Search options selected

Clicking the "Find All" button results in all 5 uses of
this style found, selected, and highlighted.

However, when using the "Styles and Formatting" pane,
the "Select All" option for that style is dimmed and not
accessible.

What am I missing? Something in my options?

This option is not available unless you have "Keep track of formatting"
checked on the Edit tab of Tools | Options.

Suzanne,

Thanks. I figured it was something simple.

Jim
