Default DOTM Deployment

I have created a Normal.dotm file fro several people to use. It works
exactly as we need on my machine. When I e-mail it to others, to save into
the Microsoft\Templates folder, some of the features change, such as numbered
list settings. Whed clicking the little arrow next to the Numbered List
button on my computer, I see four selections of number formats, all Right
aligned. On another machine, we see 8, all left aligned.
I know the normal.dotm file is producing new documents because logos that I
put into the Header are appearing on other machines.
How can I prevent this type of behavior where some setting seem to be
changing.
Thank you all
Pepper

Such customizations are inappropriate for the Normal template (which users
cannot "create" but only modify). Each user's Normal.dotm should be personal
and not tampered with by outsiders. You should instead create a document
template with the features you want and distribute that, instructing users
to use it for whatever purposes you envision it being used for. In
particular, adding *anything* to the header of Normal.dotm is very
ill-advised, as it will affect labels and possibly envelopes as well.
