Is there a way that I can make my contact data base in access keep a history
of emails and phone calls?

Yes. You create tables to hold the data, forms to enter the data and then
someone enters the data using the forms. There is no way an Access db can
monitor emails or phone calls and magically keep track of them by itself.

Outlook will do that as well anything you could create in Access. Try
that.

Hope this helps,
