Export/Import a database?
My database is split, with data on a server, and applications on individual
PCs. It's taking over a minute to open the application. I think I bumped into this once before and found in my notes "use the export/import trick" as a way to overcome the speed problem in a split environment. But I can't find an "export" or "import" option in any of the menus. Is there such a thing? TIA LAS |

Export/Import a database?
I think what you want is the "persistent recordset" option.

A goldmine. If this works for my application I'll definitely pass it on to
the other folks in our environment who have similar problems. "Ken Snell" wrote in message ... I think what you want is the "persistent recordset" option.
