charts and data table
I have 3 data series. I only want to plot 1 data series
on a bar graph, but in the data table below, I want to display all three data series. How do I do this? I know it can be done because I inherited a file that has a chart that does this. Unfortunately, the creator is no longer around. |

charts and data table
Plot all three data series in the chart, then make the two you don't
want to show invisible (no border, no fill). If the invisible series are messing up bar spacing, turn them into line series: right click on the series, choose Chart Type from the pop up menu, and select one of the line types. Then make sure it is formatted with no line and no markers. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP http://www.geocities.com/jonpeltier/Excel/index.html _______ Dai wrote: I have 3 data series.
