sliding scale graph
I need to create a "bar graph" (I'm not sure that's the right term) in a Word
document. This "graph" needs to show 5 or 6 points which are ratings for ONE individual, in ONE category, but provided by several people. How can I do this? |

You haven't stated which Word version, but the principles are similar. If
you insert a chart (Insert Object Microsoft Graph Chart in Word 2003 - Insert Chart in 2007) you will get a default table on screen which will look something like 1st Qtr 2nd Qtr 3rd Qtr 4th Qtr East 20.4 27.4 90 20.4 West 30.6 38.6 34.6 31.6 North 45.9 46.9 45 43.9 In Word 2007 it will be an Excel table and the values will be different Change the heading row to provide the names or IDs of the several people contributing to the chart and reduce the number of rows to the heading row and a single set of scores Fred Bill Joan Susan Subject 20.4 27.4 90 20.4 -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "coral" wrote in message ...
