I cant get my report to fit on one page
What have you set as the "ForceNewPage" property for the Header? (select the
header, and look at its properties) I'm guessing you have it set to "Before Section" You sure you've got a Page Header defined, and not a Report Header? Yes, you can put whatever you had in the Report header into the Page header.

I cant get my report to fit on one page
I need some control breaks ( page breaks) in this report... you have helped
me alot with it, what is the best way to get familiar with the access way of doing page breaks. Most everything else is pretty much the way I wanted it. I tried the force break before and on one control it works but not all and I still have that ugly empty detail on first header. Can I make a page break on changes in data in the detail section? What I often do is create a footer, even if there's nothing to put in it,
and use it to force page breaks. -- Doug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no e-mails, please!) "rmoritzky" wrote in message ... I cant get my report to fit on one page
Douglas, I've read this and other threads and still can't find my problem.
I'm struggling with a form but the concept seems to be the same. I get the "section width ..." error. I have the form width at 7.2" and I can't find anything outside that area. When I print the form, there is over 1" of blank right margin. Another thread suggested setting the docmd.setwarnings to False. That would stop the warning, but would I still get the blank pages? I'm stumped! Thanks "Douglas J. Steele" wrote: How wide is the report (i.e.: the Width property of the Report object).
