Default copy cell contents but not formula

Cell B1 has a number which is created by a formula. I
would like to copy the value in cell B1 to C1 but I do not
want to copy the formula. Is this possible? Thanks for
your assistance.

Copy it as usual, but when you are ready to paste it, go to editpaste
special and check 'values'.

select your destination cell (C1)
