Default I put the disk in and it doesn't open anything, what do I do?

I put the Office Home and Student 2007 into my Windows XP laptop and it
doesn't let me install it.

Can you please help?

Not with what you have told us so far.

Does the drive read other CDs?
Does the CD work in other drives?
Have you tried Windows Explorer to navigate to the drive and double click
SETUP.EXE?
Did you try clicking StartRun, and type drive:setup.ext into the space
provided?
