i had to do an erecovery on my pc, and when i reinstalled office 2007 i can
not open outlook it starts up, and has a small window with configuring
accounts and then a warning window pops up and says it can not connect with
microsoft server it is unavailible, and says it must be online or connected
to complete this action. Then a microsft server window pops up with microsft

I don't have a solution, I have the same problem. I guess that I made a
mistake when I tried to get Outlook going in the first place. I think I
clicked on "MS Exchange" never knowing that it would take me into a black
hole from which I cannot escape.

Create a new mail profile via the Mail applet in Control Panel and configure
it with the correct account type.
