MS Word type links not auto updateable
I have a doc with several links within it that are of
type "MS Word." These are links such as my table of contents, and other cross references to numbered paragraphs and table captions. When I open the links dialog to change the update method to automatic update, I cannot select it. Does anyone know how to get the spots on the links dialog box to be active to allow me to make those auto updateable? THANKS! |

MS Word type links not auto updateable
Many fields do not automatically update. You can write code to automatically
update them. Some will update automatically upon printing or shifting into print preview. That is, for many (most) fields, there is no "automatic update" switch. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
