Default Outlook Key and Custom Installation Wizard

Hi

I am trying to install Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, replacing Microsoft
Outlook 2000.

I want to be able to use the Custom Installation Wizard as I need to apply
some settings.

At present I am having a problem with the keys that i have got, tests are
shown below:

Please note descriptions are what appears against our Licencing Agreement.
The abrevation Key 1, Key 2, Key 3 and Key 4 are not the real keys I am
using, I am not going to put the twenty code combination online.

All key Types are VLK 1.0

Do not work at all
Office 2003 Suites - Key 1
Office 2003 Suites - Key 2

Accepts Key in Installer File
Office 2003 Applications - Key 3
Office 2003 Applications - Key 4

Does not accept in Custom Installation Wizard File
Office 2003 Suites - Key 1
Office 2003 Suites - Key 2
Office 2003 Applications - Key 3
Office 2003 Applications - Key 4

Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?

Regards

D

As I mentioned in your previous thread; it sounds like you are creating the
installation source with the incorrect media.
The first 2 keys are for the CD which contains the full Office Suite
(Enterprise).
The second 2 keys are for the CDs which contain individual applications
(separate Outlook CD, separate Access CD, separate Publisher CD etc...).

If the key doesn't work for you while you have the correct media; contact
Microsoft to get replacement keys.
If the key doesn't work for you as you don't have the correct media; contact
Microsoft to get a replacement disc set.

ok, i have made progress.

The following does not work:

msiexec /i z:\Outl11.msi /t y:\MSOUtlook2003.mst

The following does work:

z:\setup.exe transforms=y:\MSOutlook2003.mst

Slight confused, because this method works with Microsoft Office full
installs.
