"compact folder" crash

Impressive response. Somewhat off topic, but how are you fellows able to see the email headers in the discussion group communications? I access them frequently in OE, but don't see access to that info thru the discussion group format. Do you have special software you use as OE experts to help in the discussions, or is there a function to check to see all the header info? It is not possible, that I can see, to get at the posting properties of an article from the web client (Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000). I've never found a way. One of the reasons I prefer a proper NNTP client (I am using one called, "40tude Dialog"; but MS Outlook Express will server, as long as you understand its limitations, which are legion). PA Bear usually posts using MS Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5843, which will display posting headers. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
