Default can't find my office

My computer shows office 2000 installed, but I can open word and spreadsheet.
I don't have the cd, but have my license number. Is there a way to repair it?

Do you mean you *can't* open a spreadsheet or document? What happens when
you try?

If you put in your installation CD it will give you the options for Repair and Uninstall. What happens if you select Repair

The PC must be fairly old as Office 2000 has been out of production for some
years.

You need the cd's in order to repair Office, you may be able to borrow, or
buy cd's from eg Ebay
