I installed XP Professional on my PC & I cannot open up "my documents" which
I transferred from a flash drive. Do you mean you saved a Word file or an Excel spreadsheet?

The executable file to run the Office program MUST be located on your hard
drive. If you have saved a Word file (for example) to a flash drive, you do NOT open it directly from the flash drive. You save it to your hard drive, then you can either run the program from your Startup menu or desktop icon or you can double-click on the file name and your computer will know what to do. May I ask what it is esactly that you are trying to do?
