Default Add Chart to Form

I am using access2000. I created a student data form and I created a chart
that contains totals for every student. When I add the chart to the form, it
shows all the data for all the students. How do I make the chart only show
the data for the student I have pulled up on the form? I tried using link
child and master on the properties of the chart (child being the student id
on the form and master being the student id on the chart) but then when I
enter the form, I get an error "cannot use the crosstab of a non-fixed column
as a subquery".

Thanks
Stonewall
