Default How do I stop colors from changing?

I am creating a new template for the company I work for in ppt. I have set up
the masters, have the colors I want in the palette, but when I copy and paste
an old presentation into the new template, a lot of the colors of objects
change color, text as well. How do I stop this from happening?

Hi Claudia

Do you have the colour scheme set up? http://echosvoice.com/colorschemes.htm

So, if objects from the old ppt were based on colours in their master's
colour scheme, when they are moved to the new ppt they will pick up on the
equivalent colour in the new colour scheme.

I'm a bit confused by your question - do you want that to happen or not?

Hi Lucy,

I wanted the colors to remain the same into the new template. I think I
resolved this by changing the color scheme.

Thanks!
