I have a database written in Windows 98 which we wish to move onto another
computer and use on Windows ME. The ME machine tells me I need to convert
this database to the correct version. However, whilst performing this task
I get an error message that says:

Required registry information is missing and the application cannot run.
Please re-run setup to correct this problem.

Can anyone please advise advise what I should be doing.

A little confusion here. MS Access has versions 97/2000/2002/XP/2003 (as
well some earlier ones) that all run on Windows operating system versions
98/2000/ME/XP. What combination do you have? And have you tried
reinstalling your version of Access and/or ran the "detect and repair" tool
from inside the Access menu.

Thanks Ed - Will try:

reinstalling your version of Access and/or ran the "detect
and repair" tool from inside the Access menu.
