Saving Page Margins with RTF files

Hi,

Just wondering can anyone help me, I am using word 2000, and saving heaps of
rtf files, but it appears the page setup (margins) are not saving with the
files as whenever I reopen them, I have to change the settings again. I have
set the defaults I want, but they are not saving.

Is there something I am not doing ? or is it just a fact that the page setup
will not save with an rtf file. Or is it possible to maybe open the rtf
files in another program with may keep the page settings ?
