Default Attaching unwanted pic

Dear all,

When i receive email by somebody, their company will always attached a globe
like picture.
It comes fine when i read the email in inbox folder, the globe picture
displaying in the email.

However, when i forward the email to the others, the globe picture does not
show in the email when i typing the sender email but appears as an
attachment. I even need to delete it manually to avoid misunderstanding as
it looks like my attachment.

Any method to get rid of it such as auto delete the picture and no more
attachment except i attach it manually the document.

Thank you.

It sounds like you're not using the same format when you forward or reply. The
globe image is probably embedded in an HTML format message and you're forwarding
it using plain text. If that's the case, then it's being converted to an
attachment. Check your options/settings.

It would help if you specify the version of Outlook you're using since this
problem may be version peculiar. Also be sure that it's up-to-date with the
latest patches/service packs.

I'm running Outlook 2002. I'll offer one more thing to check. Verify that the
HTML options are set correctly under Internet Format. One option addresses
images that are contained in the message but linked via the Internet.

If still no joy, you may want to start a new thread containing updated info.
