Replicating E-mails
Hi,
I just updated from MS Outlook 97, to 2002. In 97, I used to be able to draft an e-mail, then press CNTL F to repeat the e-mail as many times as I need. However, I can't do that in 2002. Does anyone know the shortcut in version 2002? Thanks in advance. |

To make multiple copies of it use the standard keyboard shortcuts:
CRTL C for copy and CTRL V for paste. Replicating E-mails
Hi,
Thanks for your response. I don't think I described my situation correctly. In my line of work, I send out e-mails with information specific to one person. I have a template that I use that has the basic information. I then add any information (ie. user ID or password) that is specific to that person's situation and send it on. I used to open a template, press CNTL F, and the e-mail would appear again. So now I would have two copies of my draft. It would even copy the subject line and any e-mail addresses I had in the TO: or CC: section of the e-mail. However, since upgrading to Outlook 2002, the CNTL F funtion brings up the Find box. I'm hoping MS didn't remove that feature If anyone knows the trick, I'd love to hear it. Thanks so much! Does selecting the draft and clicking Forward produce something similar to what you used to see? -- Brian Tillman |

I just tried your description and when in the Drafts folder, CTRL-F does indeed create a copy of the selected or open draft, so it appears nothing's broken. If I click the Action menu, I see that CTRL-F is, indeed, the shortcut for Forward. -- Brian Tillman |
