Setting-up Address Block in Mass Merge

Using an existing list of Names, addresses I am trying to use that list to
create a mass mail-out. When I open "Word" and use the "Mailing Tab" then
"Step-by-Step" the first name and last name will appear in the requested
place in the middle of the page. The remainder of the address will be placed
on the left margin. What can I do to correct this error?

The address block inserts one paragraph for each line, and each
paragraph will typically have the characteristics of the paragraph that
you insert the block into. So if for example you have just tabbed to the
middle of the page in a paragraph which is formatted to be left aligned,
you will see the kind of layout you are experiencing. Give that first
paragraph the fomatting the entire block needs (e.g. a couple of inches
of left indent) and you should be OK. Or, you can put the entire
addressblock in a text box or old-style Word frame.
