Default if/lookup??

help my mind is blank again !!
i have my value field and my invoice frequncy field,
value field been the price and the inv freq been a number 1 to ...99.
i need a expression which lookups the differnt freq numbers, and totals the
value. i.e matches them(say all the 2's) to the price and totals all of them
?? is it possible ??
would i need an expression for every freq ??

You can group by frequency field and do a sum on value (use the sigma symbol
on the toolbar to allow grouping in the design mode).

In SQL you can also try this:

SELECT DISTINCT freq, sum(value)
FROM table;
