Default Custom Printer bin/tray

Hi, there are plenty of sources on the net on how to retrieve and set the
default printer in windows. These sources include methods to set the printer
bin/tray when the bin/tray internal number matches a defined list from 1 to
15. In addition there is 256 for "Device-specific bins start here".

My problem is that the printers that I want to provide for, have numbers
starting from 257. When I attempt to the assign a value in the
device-specific number range to the printer.paperbin property, it triggers a
system error. When I try using for example acPRBNMiddle to print to the
middle bin, no error is triggered and this assignment is ignored. So that the
report uses the default printer lower bin instead.

I'm hoping that someone out there has encountered this same issue and found
a method to resolve it.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated :-)

Many thanks
Jonathan
