Sync'ing Outlook 2003 Calendar resulted in 1 hour difference

I am using Outlook 2003 with all of the latest patches from office Update.

I tried doing a sync with my mobile phone and it appears that the time is 1
hours difference.

i.e.

My computer - I created a new event and marked it as 4:00pm - 7:00pm

My Phone after syncing - It is showing 3:00pm (not 4:00pm) - 6:00pm (not
7:00pm)

The funny thing is, I had *no problem* with syncing when I was on Windows
2000 with Office 2003.

This problem came up when I installed Windows XP on my new computer, so it
might be related to Windows XP.

I searched the newsgroup and the closest match I can find was this:

I tried doing what the thread suggested and all of these settings are
already there/enabled.

Does anyone know of a fix for this problem?

Tony,

the setting under the timezone in Outlook/calendar setting is not enough. If
you click in the clock in your Windows tasklist, there is also a setting for
the system time of your windows and here is also a sttting for an
automaticly switch between Winter/Summertime.

Both settings (Windows time setting and Outlook setting) must have the same
attitude.

Many thanks for the reply. I checked and both of them has the "Automaticaly
adjust clock for daylight saving changes" and also confirmed that both of
them has the same time zone & time.

I ran the sync and it still happened the same as before.

Any other suggestions?

Coudl you change any settings on your mobile Phone? Maybe this setting is
the problem and not the setting of your PC?

What happends if you change the setting on thecomputer? For example, if you
have now activated the automaticly change between the summer and wintertime,
what happends if you deactivate this.

Maybe your mobile phone wouldn´t consider the windows or outlook settings.

I don't think it has got to do with my mobile phone because it works just
fine when I was on Windows 2000. The problem started when I switched to
Windows XP.

From my research on the Google Groups, it sounds like a bug (even someone
from MS confirmed it)

So I need to figure out a way round to this problem.
