Form - seems simple???
I need to add a couple of fields to a form that has already been created.
The labels are in the form header and the text boxes in detail. When I add an item out of the field list I cannot figure out how to get the label in the form header while the text box stays in the detail area??? Any help would be appreciated!!! |

Hi Kay,
I have two suggestions to help you, First, when you create a text box with associated label, you can click on the test box wich will highlight both the text box and label. Then move your curser to point to the upper left hand corner and you should see a finger. Then you can move just the label without moving the test box to your detail area. Or, another possibility is to create the test box, then create a seperate label and you can move the label wherever you need. Then you can delete the lable that displays with the test box by using the finger method above and after moving the label away from the text box, you can delete it without deleting the actual text box. Hope this helps Red KayCarlson wrote: I need to add a couple of fields to a form that has already been created. The labels are in the form header and the text boxes in detail. The way to move the automatically created label is to use Cut and paste.
Cutting the label breaks the link between the label and the other control. Click on the label and cut it Click in the Header section and paste. You will then have to move the label to the desired location. "KayCarlson" u18262@uwe wrote in message news:5b2a723d0047d@uwe...
