Default Displaying a record count

I inadvertently posted this question under Tables:

After creating a directory type merge for a dynamically created table, how can I show automatically a record count?

For example, say I create a list of participants in a weekly prize drawing and merge them out to a directory (a poor implementation of dynamically created content display). In the footer, I want to have a tally of participants, which would be the record count, displayed.

Answered in Tables. Use MsgBox
ActiveDocument.MailMerge.DataSource.RecordCount
