Default outlook fail

Contact your ISP to get the correct settings for sending mail and then click
Tools/Accounts/Mail tab and change the properties for the server to reflect
the correct information for the account. Your partially quoted error below
indicates you are using port 0, which is an incorrect port for sending
messages. For most POP3 servers it would be 110 for receiving and 25 for
sending (although your ISP may use a different port for sending and may also
require authentication).

Outlook or Outlook Express?

If it's Outlook Express, not only is that not the complete error message,
but you even got the error code wrong. Please give us the complete, exact
error message.

Outlook and Outlook Express are very different programs. You'll get more
knowledgeable help for Outlook in an Outlook newsgroup:

Well, that's Hotmail in OE for you. I remember once getting that message
for two or three weeks before it started working again. It's a Hotmail
server problem, not an OE problem. Nothing you can do in OE to fix ir.
