Default Error with Append Query

i am working on an append query, it seems to return the data i want to get in
the table, however, when i attempt to run it, i get an error message says
"Could not find file 'C:\.......\My Documents...'"
Where it is looking is not where i have the database. The database is in its
own file on C drive, but not in My Docs. Since i created the query thru
access from the database, why is it looking somewhere else for the
destination Table?
Is there a way to get it unconfused?

thanks
