Default Saving MPEG files in presentation

Hi All -

Small problem. I have constructed a Powerpoint Presentations with Mpegs and
AVI files that run perfectly on my computer when that slide is selected, but
won't (automatically or hitting enter) run even though I've selected both
those options). The curious part is that some short movies run, others
don't.

What am I missing? Thanks,

Bob (who needs to take this presentation on the road, TOMORROW, 7/21)

Bob,

You might want to take a quick read of the tutorial I put together on this.

Sorry to hijack but it seems appropriate Austin. When I save a pres with vids
as an .mht file it seems like the vids are embedded. I know that it wont play
in ppt but it seems to play in IE6 as a slide show even when the source is
deleted and internet temp files deleted. For some reason though it doesnt
play if I email it to my other computers.

Any idea whats going on, I thought for a bit I had found a way to embed
videos!!

John,

Honestly, I never use the export to HTML stuff as I don't like the results
on the other end. Sorry...

YGM Shawn! Have a go at the .mht method for me it seems real close! I can get
vids to play in a slide show full screen even when Ive deleted the source /
cleared temp files etc. Not yet on other computers though but I cant see why!
Maybe I have something on my computer that enables this (As you might imagine
there's a lot of extras!) Loved your friend's pointers way file -sheet 7.6
has me stumped ;0)
