Default Spell checker only French?

I can't run spell check on my OutlookExpress 6.0.2900
anymore because the only choice for language seems to
be French (France). If I were trying to use OE to post
in French I would certainly need spelling help as I don't
speak, read or write French. But I'm just trying to use
my native language here.

Any ideas on how to get it back to English (US)?
I could even live with Engish (UK) if I had to.

You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook
Express 6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974

Outlook Express cannot use the MS Word spell check in Office 2007.
Downloading a free spell check is the simplest way around this.

Vampirefo Spell Check.

Download it from Major Geeks:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952

Or download it from SnapFile:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spelloe.html

Or you may like TinySpell. (Checks the spelling as you type).

Download it he
http://www.tinyspell.m6.net/

Australian English Spell Check
(Also suitable for other English speaking countries.)

If you have a previous version of Office, see this:
