AVG/Spamfighter E-mail Scanner program
have had no luck with AVG or Spamfighter with this problem,i can only receive
emails.i submit a question to the two above named companys on ther site but cant reply via there response,i keep getting undelivered mail response.below is an example of what i get(i have others)... I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned below could not be delivered to one or more destinations. The e-mail server has responded with the following error: sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1) Your e-mail message is being returned to you in the next part of this message. Try to send the message again. Should you need assistance, please contact your administrator or your Internet service provider. You can also verify e-mail client's settings, for instance: - whether your SMTP autentization has been configured - whether you have provided correct SMTP server name - whether the sender's address responds to the used SMTP server domain |

That is a relaying error message. Was that the complete error message? Are
you connected to your ISP when you try to send? It would seem that someone doesn't like your SMTP settings. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "Conor Dalton" wrote in message ... have had no luck with AVG or Spamfighter with this problem,i can only receive emails.i submit a question to the two above named companys on ther site but cant reply via there response,i keep getting undelivered mail response.below is an example of what i get(i have others)... AVG/Spamfighter E-mail Scanner program
AVG has nowt to do with SpamHaus. Assuming...
(1) you're connected to the internet via vodafone.ie *and* (2) sending from your address *and* (3) you do NOT get such "bounces" if you send a message to yourself (i.e., from/to your address), ....the mailservers handling the incoming messages you're sending to AVG (e.g., or ) and Spamfighter (e.g., ) are probably filtering messages using SpamHaus database which does not approve of addresses. That being said: = If you haven't purchased AVG, your only available support is in this forum: http://forums.avg.com/ = I'd advise you to disable AVG's email scanning component as it causes problems when used with OE and you don't need it anyway: Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tuto...ning/index.htm = If you've installed Spamfighter in an attempt to block spam messages from downloading into OE, uninstall it at once. OE does *not* "play nice" with any anti-spam application (despite Spamfighter's claims to the contrary). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 Conor Dalton wrote: working off my laptop at home, have wireless broadband and yea sending mail from my vodafone email address, and am in ireland. went onto http://www.spamhaus.org because my emails had a link attached, but avg says its not at there end but most likely spamfighter attached to outlook express??? i dont know how to fix this "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: Are you connecting to the internet via a wireless USB modem and vodafone.ie? Are you sending the message FROM your account or another email account?
