IE7 causes printed e-mail with picture to shrink
After downloading Internet Explorer 7, printed e-mail in OE 6, both sent and received, will shrink depending on the size of the attached picture to a point where it can not be read.
I am using Windows XP Home with all the upgrades, IE is version 7.0.5730.11 and OE is version 6.00.2900.2180. Using Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180 and Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180 it is printing with the correct fonts also when pictures are attached to the e-mail. Please let me know if there are any setting in IE7 or in OE6 to prevent the shrinking of the printed e-mail. I will appreciate any help I can get. Anders |

Outlook Express depends in Internet Explorer for printing services.
I would suspect that your problem is due to IE7 setting of shrink to fit for printing. http://www.ie-vista.com/print.html Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with IE6/7 news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...plorer.general You can also get to the Internet Explorer newsgroups via this web site: http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.mspx There select Internet Explorer -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Anders Hellstrom" wrote in message ... IE7 causes printed e-mail with picture to shrink
Thank you Mike,
Through Sandi's Site, I think I found the solution. Go to http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers/34.html and follow instructions. I saved the file NoImages.css in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\, then I set the style sheet in Tools, Internet Options, Accessibility to the same address. IE7 causes printed e-mail with picture to shrink
That would be a workaround in that it lets you disable printing images.
