upgraded office but outlook won't run
My Trial version of XP Office expired (w/o warning -
thanks microsoft!), so bought XP professional and loaded it. When I open Outlook it is unable to open default e- mail folder or default file system folders , so it closes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and repairing and still no luck. Outlook express seems to receive, but I can't send. |

Are you sure you bought Office XP and not Office 2003? If not get back to
your reseller and ask for an Office 2003 copy. If you did a trial with a beta version of Outlook 2003 you'll need to export your messages to a Outlook 97-2002 pst-file first since during the beta the new Outlook 2003 pst-file structure got an update.
